Happy Birthday, Sassy!
We celebrated this important milestone by buying a new bed. The queen was getting quite small for us--Sassy takes up more room than you would imagine possible. We upgraded to a King. We're all looking forward to sleeping a little more comfortably.
Sassy got three new books for her birthday, "Olivia's Opposites", "Moo, Baa, La la" and a collection of Berenstain Bears books. She loves being read to as long as she has a book of her own to chew on. We read together every day.
As you can see, she can sit up now. Typically, she manages to not topple over for at least a minute or more. We're so proud!
Monday is her 6 month well visit. We will do a stat update after the appointment.

Happy Island Baby!
Leah had a wonderful Aruban vacation. She exceeded everyone's expectations on the airplanes. She smiled, giggled, and flirted on 3/4 of the flights (she slept through the last one). Her favorite part of the ride was landing. She laughed hard! She received nothing but compliments from her fellow passengers.
Leah loved having undivided attention for the week. I think adjusting back to her normal routine is going to be difficult for her.
The big news of the vaction is the beginning of Leah's first tooth! A bottom tooth is emerging--you can even see it!
Leah loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa L. and is certainly going to miss them. She looks forward to reconnecting with them in April. In the meantime, she hopes to talk to them on the phone (or puppy pant).

Speaking of Grandmas, we hear Grandma M. isn't feeling well. We're wishing her a speedy recovery!

Road Trip!
My Mommy took me to the National Reading Recovery Conference in Columbus, Ohio. I was great in the car, as well as good for Grandma L during the conference. Everyone at the conference noticed the adorable baby, and stopped to talk to me. At night, I wanted to party. I was up laughing and talking until 11:00!
