Playdate!
Leah was really excited for Lukey to come over. She would look at his pictures on his blog and say, "baby, baby, baby!". She was a little shy when he arrived. She warmed up to him, and enjoyed showing him toys. She shared most of her toys, but not her favorites. I asked her to share a Sesame Street stuffed animal, and she looked at them all carefully, then gave him Abby (her least favorite).
I think they need more playdates!

Cozumel
We had an amazing time in Cozumel! Leah is such an expert traveler. She did great on the planes (she has now been on 10 planes!), and loved the vacation. I don't care how cheesy it sounds, but I strongly believe vacations are an investment in our family! We all loved spending some quality time together.
A Day in the Life
6:30- Wake up. Have some family cuddle time.
7:00-Meet Grandma and Grandpa for breakfast.
7:30-Feed the fish. This activity was enjoyed most by Grandma and me.
7:45-Find our spot on the beach. Relax.

7:45-Find our spot on the beach. Relax.
11:00-11:30-Family swim time!
12:00-Prelunch snack of ice cream. Lead really enjoyed eating this independently.
1:00-More swimming!
2:00-4:00-Leah took her 2ndnap with Grandma. Chris and I enjoyed more quality time (and cervesa and margaritas) on the beach.
4:00-5:00-More swimming with Leah!
5:00-Leah watched Sesame
6:00-Leah took a shower (which she hates)
6:30-Dinner. Again Grandpa had to be first in line for the buffet!
6:45-Leah becomes cranky for her dinner.
6:50-Mama takes Leah upstairs and orders her room service (pizza).
7:00-9:00-Leah has a picnic dinner and a Sesame DVD while the rest of us enjoy some wine on the balcony.
Pool Fun
Leah loved the pool. She even learned to say "pool" during the trip. The resort had 2 pools. In the early afternoon we swam at the pool by the beach. In the late afternoon we swam at the pool closest to the resort. There was a large Acapulco deck that Leah really enjoyed. Sassy loves to swim.
She fell off the first step in the pool twice, going completely underwater. Both times she cried for less than a minute, and wanted to go right back in the water. We can't wait for our neighborhood pool to open!
Ocean
In North Carolina, Leah loved the ocean. She would run right into the waves. In Cozumel, she hated the sand. She appreciated the beauty of it, and would sit in the beach chairs and look out at the ocean. But she wanted no part of being in the sand. The minute you put her in the sand, she would get on her tip toes and frantically try to get out of it. My mom said I was the same way when we went to Cancun when I was 2. Because of the sand, she wanted no part of the ocean, either. Oh well.
