Leah loves bubbles. She prefers to be the bubble chaser/popper, but made an exception this week and allowed me to be the bubble chaser/photographer. Leah can blow bubbles, but more often than not somehow manages to get her lips "stuck" in the wand. I love, love, love the center shot. I think it captures her "technique" perfectly. :)

Bath Art
We got some bath crayons from Target; they were an instant hit. Lili immediately asked me to draw: Momo (Elmo), Grober (Grover), and Duck Shoes (a duck wearing shoes--she started asking me to draw this earlier this week-I thought it was a strange request, but she gets really excited after you draw it).

Fireworks
Leah got to stay up to 11pm on Saturday to see the fireworks. She really liked them! She kept yelling, "BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!" When there was a lag between fireworks, Leah would ask, "where'd they go?" Then, when she saw one, she'd answer, "Here they are!"
Leah was very excited that Auntie Renee brought Cooper!

Lucia's First Birthday!
More Party
Auntie Renee gave Sassy a Rock and Roll Elmo that I bought for Trevor 10 years ago. Leah LOVED it and held it protectively the entire night. She enjoyed sharing it with Lucia, but made it clear that Elmo was coming home with us. Uncle Jim was ready to pass off the toy...I have no idea why, since hearing "Elmo loves rock and roll....rock the house!" at 5:30 in the morning isn't annoying at all!
Grandma
Our nanny is getting married, and needed a week and a half off, so Grandma L flew in to take care of Lili for the week. We've had a very busy week!
Here have been some highlights :
1. lots of shopping!
2. grandma shares her ice cream!
3. lots of people to see!
4. getting to see cousin Lucia!
5. going to Lili's first museum--The Holocaust Memorial in Farmington Hills
6. being completely off schedule-- like waking up, ready to party, at 3:30 am
