Toilet Paper Fun

Jelly Boo's favorite place to play is the bathroom. The second that she knows someone is headed that way, she crawls as fast as she can to get in, too. If she doesn't make it, she cries pathetically outside and pounds on the door. If she makes it, she tries to get to Leah's potty seat to play with it.
Last week she discovered the toilet paper. She kept spinning herself around and around with her feet until she was wrapped in paper. She thought it was hilarious.
She loved to play with the paper.
What a stinker.

Easter Eggs

Tub Time

Question:  What do you do with 2 sick whiny kids?

Answer: Put them in the tub with new soap and laugh when the both try to eat it!

Small But Mighty

It's time for Juliet's 10 month pictures and update, but she is battling a nasty cold, so I've been waiting to take her picture until the constant stream of snot stops pouring from her nose. Poor girlie Boo. She hasn't slept AT ALL over the past 4 nights. On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night I ended up having to hold her in the rocking chair upright for hours over the course of the night. She has slept like a baby koala bear. I feel so bad for her, but she doesn't let it impact her disposition. She still tries her best to be happy and smiley  However, when she is feeling really, really yucky she cries hard and tries to explain her woes to you. She just babbles and babbles as pathetically as she can about her ailments. It's by far one of the cutest things she's done this month.

Spring is not Springing

On a rare above 40 degree day last week, I took both girls for a walk. Leah had to be bribed to sit in the orange stroller. Leah wants to use the blue Bob exclusively. I need to do some reprogramming before summer.

Dancing with Rapunzel

Leah's love of "Big Tangled" was back in full force this weekend. Now she slow dances with Tangled. She'll spin her, dip her, and cuddle with her. She told me, "I want Tangled to look into my eyes when we dance". Seriously.
Pay no attention to the chocolate smearings around Sassy's mouth. Meijer was giving away free cookies. Yes, she wore the dress 2 days in a row. She loves her new dress. She was very mad that Daddy made her take it off at night to sleep. She is still talking about how she wanted to wear her dress at night, and Daddy said no, and she cried and cried.

Party

Anna had her first birthday party. Leah was very excited about getting to eat cake, and even got a new dress for the occasion at Costco that morning.
Carrie said Maeve and Leah could help open presents, and Leah took that responsibility very seriously. She was very helpful  enthusiastic. Auntie Robin was very thankful  accepting of her help.
When we got home, Leah asked when her birthday was, I explained it was after Easter, my birthday, Daddy's birthday, J Boo's birthday, the fire works, our next trip to the beach, and the fire works again. Leah was very unhappy. I did get her to agree to a vacation to the aquarium and toy store instead of a party, though. We'll see how long she goes along with that.
Anna was a little overwhelmed with all the commotion. She did look fabulous in her peep shirt and tutu, though.
She wasn't so into the cake.
Even with a nukie on it. Lukey helped her out. Good brother!

Happy Birthday, Anna!

Easter Basket

Of course I had to put Juliet in her Easter basket for pictures. She thought the whole thing was pretty funny.

After she got out, she wanted to practice standing. It's her new favorite thing.
She likes to get her start on my leg, then let go. She gets really proud and immediately starts flapping her arms and yelling about how great she is. When she falls on her booty, she claps for her effort. Smart girl!

J Boo loves her dog!

Juliet was so happy the first day home. She kept crawling around and touching all of her toys. What she missed most, was Ruggie. This girl going to be a dog lover, mark my words. She loves to crawl on him, have him lick her, and just sit close to him. Ruggie is a pretty good sport about the whole thing.
Unfortunately Juliet developed a cold somewhere along the way on the way home, so she had a runny nose and some fussiness for the first few days back. But she is now good as new and back to being a smiley, happy, talkative, drooly (I do have to note the she just stopped drooling in Cozumel. Not one drool. Seriously. But the second she was back, so were the drools) girlie boo.
