This girl was so excited for her own birthday party. There have been lots of reminders to Leah about how this is HER birthday party, not Leah's. Juliet was obsessed with this being a friend birthday party, not a family party. She was so excited to wear her mermaid dress and put on a party hat, which she immediately thought was uncomfortable and refused to look at again.
We had her party a month late so Mom and Grandpa could come. They were in town and also got to see Leah's dance recital.
Her cake turned out really good! We tried to find a good beach cake, and we found a picture pretty close to what we (mainly me) were envisioning. We made a few modifications, and I love how it turned out.
These two posing. I love how Juliet always looks up to her big sister.
I was pretty happy with this family picture. Thanks, Auntie Robin!
These two had a spontaneous hand holding session, which we immediately made them recreate for a picture. These two have a nice connection.
Happy girl with her cake!
Present time! This girl loved all of her presents. They were all big hits. She loves her Kit doll and the Anna dress and the See-Saw or Wee-Wah. She had so much fun last night playing doing Kit's hair with her new hair kit. Her and Leah say Kit and Caroline are their daughters, and they need to really take care of them.
The Z's and our kids had fun playing with the See-Saw for most of the afternoon. Leah and Juliet woke up this morning, and wanted to go straight out to play on it again.
Juliet had a great party. She loved being the focus. We loved giving her the chance to be the star. Happy 3rd Birthday, Juliet (again)!
