First day and last day comparison.
Juliet rolling her eyes at me for continuing to take pictures. She kept trying to keep a straight face while doing it, and it was just about the cutest thing ever.
Juliet had the best time every in Stay and Play. She loved going to school. Chris and I really treasured the opportunity to play with just her, uninterrupted, for 2 hours each week. When I changed positions mid-year, one of my primary concerns was whether Juliet would be able to keep attending Stay and Play. Between me taking a few personal days, our nanny, and primarily Chris, we made it work. I am so thankful. I took a day off for the last day. I told her, "we started this together, we end this together". She was excited!
Oh my goodness, how I am going to miss this look of concentration. When we paint and use play-doh at home, she always looks to Leah and models her play after her. At Stay and Play, she takes the lead and makes the cutest faces as she works.
When we played on this at the beginning of the year, she couldn't reach the petals, let alone petal. She was doing it herself on Friday.
Juliet and her teachers. I'm pretty critical of teachers, being one myself, but I will rave about these 2. Juliet had the best teachers. She is so excited that Mrs. T will be at Princess Camp, too!
The entire class. One little boy didn't want his picture taken. It was pretty cute.
Their teachers announced the class of 2030 and I started crying.
Then they sang the good-bye song and Mrs. Tammy gave a speech about how we ARE in the good 'ole days. That these are the moments to treasure. That the growing up process goes incredibility fast. That this program is a gift for parents, not the kids. And I was crying so hard that all my mascara was running and I had to put on my sunglasses to high-tail it out of there. I told Chris that if I was feeling on the fence about having another baby, Mrs. Tammy convinced me.
What an amazing program!
