Leah's Art Show

Our school district has an Art Show every year. At the elementary level, the art teacher picks 2 works of art from each class to represent their school at the show. Leah's masterpiece was one of the selected.

We were so eager to see what was selected. It turns out that it was her name, using glitter and watercolor. Quite striking.
Leah was very proud of this honor, and imagined that the entire show would be full of her art.
I'm not surprised Leah's art was selected since drawing, coloring, painting, and creating are among her very favorite things. Yesterday she colored a quite detailed mermaid as we were watching Despicable Me 2. There's been a few pieces that she has given me with that I do a double take with and say, "You made this?! All by yourself?!" We are so proud of her and her talent.
We love you and are so proud of you, Leah Bean!
