Juliet always requests a home made chocolate cake for her birthday. Last year I had the sheer audacity to make the number 5 with M & Ms. That was completely unacceptable, as Juliet claims that she doesn't like M & Ms (though I've seen her eat them plenty of times). She hasn't let me forget my mistake. This year I made certain that I got her exact vision of the number 6. It was white chocolate chips. I delivered. The cake was incredibly rich, but good!
I love this dress. Leah is beginning to phase out of wanting to wear a dress everyday, so I was excited when she requested that I buy her this dress (which Juliet already had). This dress is so sweet.
The birthday girl! Last year we missed having a family party because we were traveling so much. It was nice to have everyone together.
We kept it low key. We got Jimmy Johns (the girls love subs now!) and I made a salad and the cake. We put out some of Juliet's favorite chips and Auntie Renee brought some fruit. It was pretty easy.
Juliet got lots of great presents. She is thankful for everything!
I was pretty busy cleaning and setting up for most of the day. During the party, Teddy enjoyed being held by the family. But I felt like I missed Teddy all day. I was a little too happy when everyone went home and I got my boy back! Haha.
Family Picture! The girls had fun with their cousins!
Happy Birthday, Boo!
