Hello, World!

I went shopping to Birch Run with Mommy and Auntie Nicole. I rocked it! I love shopping with Auntie. Mommy got new sheets for our bed and into a squabble with a worker at Pottery Barn over an anywhere chair for me. She lost. Regardless, I had a lot of fun!

Stats.

Height: 27" - 31st percentile.
Weight: 19lb 7 oz - 62nd percentile.
Head circumference: 90th percentile. Seriously. The doctor double checked the nurse's measurement.

No hands.

New Flowers from Eastern Market

9 months.

Leah had her 9 month well visit on Friday. She was an All-Star. She could do everything on her 9 month questionnaire except feed herself (see previous post). We will post her stats latter.

Leah feeding herself a snack.

Step 1: Think about getting a snack.

Step 2: Pick up the snack.

Step 3: Try to figure out how to get snack from hand to mouth.

Step 4: Give up and eat snack off table.

Waiting for daddy.

Door stops.

Booooing. Have you guys seen these things? They're hilarious.

Another new toy.

Mom thought I should have a toy I could stand with it. I love it. It's a table that plays music and teaches me things in English and Spanish.

Standing.

Look! One hand.
I hug the chair when I get tired. I love you chair.

Tornado drill.

Can you see me? I'm preparing for a tornado. Or proving that I could hide in the storage compartment of my wagon (Han Solo style) if needed.

Trying on a new, fancy (and big) hat.

Lion Tamer.

We took a new toy out of the basement (Thanks Ms. Zator). Leah was not quite ready to push it around. She looked awfully cute sitting on it though.

All Better!

Sassy has recovered! It wasn't fun for anyone while she was sick. Leah has been fever free since Thursday morning, and fussy free since Saturday.

Happy Mother's Day!

We had a wonderful Mother's Day. I got a digital picture frame that Chris loaded with adorable pictures of the fam. Leah helped make a lovely card with a heartwarming inscription.

We went to El Azteco in East Lansing for dinner on Sunday. Sass is just getting over her bug, so she hasn't been eating much lately. I wasn't expecting her to eat much, but she seems to like El Azteco just as much as her Mommy and Daddy. She couldn't get enough of the guac, beans, and cheese!

Mail Time!

Sassy's favorite time of day is mail time. She gets excited to go get the mail out of the box, and gets even more excited when she can roll around the floor with her mail.

Daddy!

Happy Birthday, Dada Doo! My Daddy is 30 today. My birthday gift to him was allowing him to hang out with his friends last night without melting down despite only napping 2 hours! I nailed it!
I have the best Daddy ever!

Sitting Pretty

New Wagon!

I've been wanting a wagon for a long time. Every Spring, I go to Eastern Market to buy flowers and always have to borrow my sister's wagon. Now that we have Sass, we have all sorts of reasons why we need a wagon. Target had Radio Flyer wagons $13 off--and a friend convinced me to do it! We love it!

What's up, Doc?

Sassy wanted to sample a carrot as I was making meatloaf.
She enjoyed it, until.....

Pretty

Leah is getting really goood at waving. She even attempts, "bye, bye". It comes out "Ba, Ba".

More Swinging
