Kitties

Leah loves her collection of kitties. She has 4 kitties that she carries all over. She kisses them and has them kiss each other. We just got two new kitties one looks like Brain, and the other looks like Annie!

Self-Feeding!

Leah is really into feeding herself! She has gotten good at using a spoon. Notice there is a lot less applesauce on her face, hands, and bib then there was 2 months ago. Go Sassy!

Tie Dye!

Hand!

Leah showing just how much of her hand she can jam into her mouth (quite a bit--she has a big mouth like her mama). She has started sucking her fingers/thumb when she is tired or anxious. We're trying to break it...However, she happily takes her nukie before naps and bedtime (after blowing kisses to everyone around her).

Bear Bear

Leah got 2 bears as a present from Mrs. Dzialo before Christmas. She really likes this bear (unnamed thus far). She learned to say bear and will look around for her bear and put it in the stroller to be pushed around. She now recognizes other bears in books and will point them out.

Happy New Year!

Leah loves blowing kisses! This isn't the best picture, but you get the idea. Before naptime, she blows kisses and waves bye-bye to Daddy and the animals.

We went to Auntie Nicole's house for New Years. She made a delicious prime rib. We had a great dinner, and were home by 9:00. Leah was asleep at 12:00, but Chris and I made it!

Watching Glee

We've been watching Glee Season 1 at night lately. Leah loves the musical numbers, and thinks it's a good compromise between boring adult TV and Sesame. Sass has become a Sesame junkie. She could watch the "Silly Songs" DVD several times each day. We're trying to limit it it once a day, but it is hard to refuse it when she keeps handing it to you, gesturing to the tv, and giving you a hopeful smile.
