Cousins

Trying to get two toddlers to cooperate is pretty difficult. Here are Sassy and Lucia in their matching dresses and crab sunglasses (thanks to Great Aunt JoAnn!). In a rare moment of conversation that didn't begin or end with "no!", Leah showed Lucia her pink toes. "See, baby, pink!"

Watching the Xoom together. Lucia was a little envious that Leah got to operate the Xoom. Lucia's still in the "no touching" phase (she is a thrower!).

Above: Sassy pointing at Lucia. Lucia looking back at Leah as if to say, "you can't tell me what to do!".

Below: Watching Elmo's World on the houses big screen. Both were pretty into it!

Leah spent most of the week carefully guarding her toys (which were mainly Lucia's toys) when Lucia was around. When Lucia got too close, Leah would point at her and say, "No, Baby, NO!". Leah even started just referring to Lucia as "no baby". We definitely got a glimpse of what life will be like with two young kids in our family! It will be exhausting!

I think as the years progress, Leah and Lucia will be great friends and have a lot of fun during our family vacations. They both already share a love of watching Sesame Street songs on the big screen and watching more Sesame Street shorts on the iPad or Xoom.
