Chicks and Worms

 On Tuesday the eggs we were incubating in Kindergarten hatched. I brought Leah back to school to meet the chicks. Leah liked them from a distance. She liked petting them on the head, and saying "hi, chickies!" but didn't like it when they moved to much.

 What Leah loved best of all were the worms (we are studying how things grow and change in science). She loved digging in the worms and watching them wiggle. We saw the chicks and worms on Tuesday, and on Thursday Leah insisted on going back to see them.

 I asked Leah if she wanted her picture taken with the chicks. She said, "no, just take a picture of the chicks and Big Bird."
