The girls had so much fun together-- they got along so well. They were SO EXCITED to have "sleepovers" with their cousins and see their rooms, especially.
We saw a parade with bagpipes, walked around old town Alexandria, and went to a pool.
At dusk, we went to see the monuments. I loved seeing them in the evening.
Future president: Theodore Charles Martin Merritt. This picture looks like it could be in his post-presidential autobiography one day.
